What is Kundalini?

Kundalini is the dormant spiritual force situated at the base of the spine, often illustrated as a coiled serpent (Kundala). When awakened through systematic breathing techniques (pranayama), bodily locks (bandhas), and focused meditation, this energy ascends through the central channel (Sushumna Nadi), piercing the seven main energy centers (Chakras).

Once this life force reaches the crown center (Sahasrara), the seeker experiences a state of cosmic unity, profound silence, and supreme bliss. At Vishwa Hindu Peeth, we teach this ancient Tantric science safely and systematically, ensuring physical preparedness before energy redirection.

Weeks 17 - 24: Third Eye & Crown Silence Integration

Deep absorption practices focused on the Ajna (third eye) and Sahasrara (crown) centers. Entering states of profound silent awareness (Samadhi) and daily lifestyle integration.

The Standard Meditation Process

During our weekly sessions, you will be initiated into a systematic sequence to activate and guide the vital force:

  1. Asana (Posture): Sit in Siddhasana or Padmasana, ensuring head and spine form a straight vertical axis.
  2. Pranayama (Breathing): 10 minutes of deep bellows breath (Bhastrika) followed by Nadi Shodhana to settle heart rates.
  3. Bandhas (Locks): Apply Mula Bandha (root lock) and Jalandhara Bandha (chin lock) to direct energy flow upward.
  4. Mantra Japa: Chanting the sound seed-vibrations aligned with target centers (e.g. LAM, VAM, RAM).
  5. Dhyana (Absorption): 20 minutes of complete silent observation of internal energy movements.

Meditation Course FAQs

Answers to common queries regarding Kundalini energy safety.

Is Kundalini Awakening safe?

Yes, Kundalini meditation is entirely safe when practiced under a realized spiritual master like Acharya Shri Madan Ji. Problems only arise when seekers attempt forceful techniques or drugs without physical cleansing (Nadi purification).

What happens if I miss a weekly session?

We share audio recordings and session guidelines with registered students. However, missing more than two consecutive sessions is discouraged, as each week builds on the energetic progress of the previous week.

Do I need to maintain a vegetarian diet?

A light, Sattvic (pure vegetarian) diet is strongly recommended during the 24-week course. Heavy food types can create stagnation (Tamas) in lower nerve nodes, slowing energy ascent.
